The Hortensia Herrero Art Center joins International Museum Day.

The Hortensia Herrero Art Center will join International Museum Day, celebrated worldwide every May 18 since 1977. The CAHH, which has now surpassed six months since opening on November 11, has become an almost essential visit for both Valencians and visitors to the city, and it aims to reward its visitors by offering a series of free activities to mark this upcoming event.

Specifically, the Hortensia Herrero Art Center will offer several exclusive experiences. On the one hand, two activities will be repeated and alternated throughout the day. One is specially designed for families and will consist of a visit to specific areas of the CAHH, followed by a workshop designed for teamwork, where families can create their own works together. The other activity, open to all audiences, is a guided experience with special attention to those artworks in which light plays a key role. Both activities are free, but prior booking is required.

On the other hand, the Hortensia Herrero Art Center will offer a never-before-seen experience in its more than six months of existence, extending its opening hours until midnight on Saturday. From 8 p.m., it will offer two guided night tours every hour (eight in total), all free and exclusive, as the center will be open only for these visits.

Tickets can be booked through the Art Center’s website: www.cahh.es/actividades.
