- The centre located on Calle del Mar is planning new experiences for all audiences throughout the year, starting this very month of January.
- An activity for children aged 6 to 36 months and a visit focused on digital art are the new additions.
Valencia, 9 January 2025. The Centro de Arte Hortensia Herrero begins 2025 with the renewal of its programme of specialised visits and activities. After a full year in which the first special activities for all ages were launched, along with school visits and thematic guided tours, the CAHH aims to continue offering different experiences to reach all audiences. Throughout the year, starting this very month of January, various activities will be scheduled. Two of them are already defined and tickets are available. These are “Hands to Art”, aimed at children aged 6 to 36 months, and Digital Art at the CAHH (aimed at all audiences).
Activities for all tastes and ages
These two new additions join the ones already underway, which will resume starting next week. Ticket sales for these activities and special visits open two months in advance, just like general admission tickets for the CAHH. This is the offer for the next two months:
Hands to Art (NEW)”
This sensory activity designed for children aged 6 to 36 months invites the youngest visitors to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary art in a fun and educational way. Through a guided tour of the museum, children will be able to interact with artworks, exploring different textures, colours, and shapes. The activities stimulate their curiosity, support their cognitive and emotional development, and create an early connection with art through experimentation and play.
Hands to Art” is a space where each child can feel, touch, and discover elements with the same textures, shapes, and colours used in some of the artworks exhibited at the CAHH, making their first encounter with contemporary art a memorable and enriching experience.

You, the Artist.
This activity was launched as a new feature during the Christmas period and is now being added to the CAHH’s regular programme. Afterwards, the youngest participants will create their own artwork using similar techniques.

- Schedule: 8 and 22 February
An Ideal Museum
“An Ideal Museum” is a family activity that offers participants the opportunity to recreate their own 3D version of the Centro de Arte Hortensia Herrero using a cut-out model. Guided by a mediator, the group explores and enjoys some of the centre’s spaces and reflects on their relationship with the artworks. To conclude, in a workshop room they assemble a model inspired by the CAHH using printable sheets and various materials. The aim is for each family to decide which artworks to include in their model. As a keepsake of the experience, participants take their creations home.
- RECOMMENDED FROM 3 YEARS OLD
- Free admission for children aged 0 to 3 (reservation required)
