A unique experience by Guillaume Glories

Experience a unique evening with a behind-the-scenes private tour of the Centro de Arte Hortensia Herrero and a guided wine tasting led by Guillaume Glories, a sommelier of renowned prestige.

Each of the five selected wines has been specially paired with a representative artwork, creating a fusion between palate and gaze. As we move through the galleries, the flavours and aromas of each wine will complement the emotions and colours of the artworks, offering a new way of experiencing art.

We invite you to enjoy this dialogue between contemporary art and oenology.

*Discover the Sommelier’s proposal:

1 · Champagne Brut Instant B 2014 – Maison Bollieu
A Blanc de Blancs Chardonnay, vintage from the Côte de Bassuet, marked by an extended ageing of 14 years in the cellar, which gives it breadth, precision and a silky texture. Expressive and enveloping, it combines notes of ripe apple, candied citrus and toasted brioche in a refined balance between maturity and freshness.

2 · Riesling Gaisböhl GG 2009 – Dr. Bürklin-Wolf magnum
From a historic vineyard in Germany’s Pfalz region, this dry Riesling is defined by its pronounced calcareous minerality and measured evolution. Bright and profound, it reveals aromas of honey, spices, candied lemon and hydrocarbons, with a precise and persistent expression on both nose and palate.

3 · De Martino 347 Carménère 2022
A contemporary interpretation of one of Chile’s oldest grape varieties, grown in high-altitude vineyards in the Maipo Valley, where Andean influence preserves freshness and tension. A structured and vibrant red wine, with dark fruit and fine spices, finishing with a distinctive and persistent bitter note.

4 · Rioja Gran Reserva Cuvée 904 2016 magnum
A historic reference of Rioja, produced only in exceptional vintages and shaped through long ageing in American oak. A wine of balance and breadth, where time refines the substance and leaves a deep, enveloping and nuanced imprint.

5 · Fondillón Recondita 2013 – Gutiérrez de la Vega
A singular expression of one of the most emblematic wines of the Spanish Mediterranean, made from Monastrell grapes and aged through natural oxidation for over a decade. Intense and warm, it offers deep complexity marked by dried fruits, spices and a persistent memory of time.

Aperitif: At each stage, a small montadito-style dish will be served to accompany the wine.
